HELLO.

Yes, Class outing on SUNDAY, 26 Oct.

Please try to make it.

We'll probably be there from 1/2pm to 6/7pm? Yep. Meeting place will be confirmed the night before thru class sms relay system.

Tickets to Sentosa should be sponsored by class fund if it permits (will check).

My dear friends, this is (technically) the last time we get to go out together.

Aside from Yanglin who's gna be in Hongkong this weekend, I don't see why any one else should have an excuse not to come. Initially we were supposed to meet in the morning, but since most people have religious activities in the morning, we've pushed it back to after lunch.

In any case, let's make it a fun day out together. Whether you guys want Mr Gan (and maybe Poky) and Ms Lau to come is entirely up to you guys.

I have already sent a message thru the relay system and I require the cooperation of EVERYONE. Just sms me (Nicole!) before 9pm tmr, Thursday, whether or not you are coming. If you intend to come late due to other commitments, please also state your approximate time of arrival. :D

THANK YOU GUYS & MUCHO LOVE!~

Okay, here are the different beaches on Sentosa:

Take a look at them and tell me what you think.
I recommend Siloso Beach or Tanjong Beach.
Siloso is more attractive and is quite close to the Merlion and central attractions that we can visit if you want.
However, Tanjong Beach is located at East Sentosa where there will be less people and more space for us to enjoy (it is a SUNDAY and bound to be very crowded).

Of course, we can also visit the Merlion Walk, which is this long stretch of water playgrounds located just before the Merlion. It is very WET. Expect to get wet. :)

Of course, there are other places such as Fort Siloso, Images of S'pore and Underwater World. All which are heavily priced but a good exposure for the PRCs.

For the PRCs, we can also wait till late to watch the Songs of the Sea @ the Musical Fountains:

Get ready to fall under the spell of a new nightly extravaganza set in the sea. Songs of the Sea brings you a mesmerizing show with a live cast and dramatic effects pyrotechnics, water jets, brilliant lasers, special computer imaging, captivating music and stunning flame bursts. It's a one-of-a-kind entertainment that's not to be missed. Songs of the Sea is an outdoor, rain or shine event.
Awards
Winner of international and regional awards:
- Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement for Event Spectacular, March 08
- ASEANTA Award for Best ASEAN New Tourist Attraction, June 08
Could also visit the Merlion (mainly for PRCs)

Get ready for a fascinating encounter with the biggest replica of Singapore's most enduring symbol - The Merlion. Standing at 37 metres high, this half-lion, half-fish creature brings you to the depth of the sea as you walk side-by-side with legendary sea dragons and mythical mermaids. Relive the origins of the Merlion in an enchanting animation feature and discover what fortune lies in store for you at the mouth of the Mercubs.

Get a glimpse of the Merlion view where you will be rewarded with a 360° view of Sentosa and Singapore's southern shores. From the Mouth Gallery Viewing Deck on level 9, you can even spot Singapore's impressive skyline.

When you're done gazing at the splendid views, don’t forget to grab an iconic souvenir of Singapore, Merlion from The Merlion Shop. Let the myths and legends of the deep and the joy and fortunes of the Mercubs continue to be with you. At the back of The Merlion is a 120-metre-long Gaudi-inspired mosaic walkway – Merlion Walk.

Class Outing

Yo peoples.

For Class Outing, it has been decided that it will be a trip to SENTOSA!!!! Yays.
It will hopefully be help on the last Sunday before the holidays.
We will most likely be going to the beach (which one is not yet decided).

How to get there:

WalkGuests boarding the orange Sentosa bus from HarbourFront Interchange will alight at the Beach Station. Remember to purchase your Songs of the Sea admission tickets from the Ticketing booth nearby!

When leaving the island, guests may either board Sentosa Express or the orange bus from Beach Station once more. Ticketing: S$3 per person (Adult and Child aged 3 and above).

Okay? So, hopefully, we can meet @ Vivo City around 10 am and spend the rest of the day having fun on the beach playing beachball, swimming and sun-tanning.

More details to be decided on a later date.
Hope yalls can come!!! :)
